I remember a mother-daughter bonding experience about nine years ago, where I drove slowly up and down the streets of our small town with my fifteen year old in the passenger seat, all attention glued to her cell phone. She was playing Poke-Mon Go, looking for the elusive Bulbasaur and I was her accomplice/chauffeur.
“Quick, mom…the post office! It’s in the parking lot!” she hollared. Fortunately, there was no traffic to challenge my radical u-turn or be annoyed at the five-mile-per-hour creep. The signal wasn’t great, or maybe it was just that the game itself, with programmed quarry flashing in and out, was designed to instill great frustration….and create a state of laser-focus on it. I don’t remember how many “monsters” we caught that day, but it was a shared experience that we both remember fondly. We did not have television; all the games that my daughter played with her friends from their local voc/tech high school were just games, and she had no access to the cartoons that were popular at the time, fortunately. Even the cell phone was new; despite all the begging and pleading, I hadn’t allowed her to have one before she started ninth grade.
At the time, I wasn’t aware that in 1997, approximately 600 children in Japan had been hospitalized with convulsions, nausea and vomiting following the airing of a particular episode of Poke-Mon, which apparently triggered a host of similar symptoms among many who watched this show. So many kids were affected that the story caught national attention. Did the American legacy media pick it up at the time? I have no idea. I’ve never paid the slightest bit of attention to anything on television, or even to what is considered “news”. In 2001, I was also not aware that certain professionals had taken the time to dig more deeply into studying that story, and had arrived at a conclusion that this was a “mass hysteria” event.
Then, in late 2023, the topic was once more revisited: Mystery of Pokémon episode that hospitalized hundreds of children is explained by expert (unilad.com)

I discovered this story on a recent stack by The Fox (Foxblog3 - Pokemon Mind Control Programming - by The Fox (substack.com) and was intrigued, not only because of my own memories of Poke-Mon with my daughter but also because of all the current work with the Subconscious mind that I do as a transformational spiritual teacher and master hypnotist. The covid era was a wake-up call for so many of us, who looked around and realized that a large portion of the entire population is under a form of mind control. The realization forced us to step outside of our comfort zones and set out on our own individual and group quests to discover how it is being accomplished, and to explore ways that we can help others to break free of it.
"Mass hysteria" is real....and subliminal programming is behind it. Television isn't called Programming for no reason; any time you're engrossed in it, you're in a trance state; the same trance state that you experience while driving a car and “zoning out”. This trance state opens the door into the subconscious, allowing suggestions, commands and beliefs to slip through without your awareness. Symbols and language that is recognized by the right brain can be embedded in whatever material you are consuming…..and bypass your rational left brain.
Fear is a powerful door-opener. When legacy media urgently blasts messages of impending doom and gloom, causing a fear state; subliminals get in. This is how mass mind control works and it’s the reason why so many of people bought into the irrational fear over covid. Here in Western Massachusetts where I live, there are many people who are STILL wearing muzzles over their faces to the detriment of their own health and no amount of reality checks or facts can bring these fear-driven individuals back to a balanced state of reason. They aren’t even aware that they have shortened their own lifespans, compromised their immune systems or reduced their IQ significantly and no amount of evidence proving that muzzles serve no benefit and only cause harm will convince them otherwise. This is the result of mind-control programming.
Poke-Mon is “Just” a kids’ game. It’s harmless….or maybe not. Now, more than ever, people need to question everything, and to look deeper into the significance of symbols….and the realities of hypnosis. It is everywhere. And what you don’t know actually can hurt you.
I must be a real mean mom! My kids were not allowed to watch or use any media in the car. This worked great for us because my attention wasn’t literally focused on them, they became a captive audience that would actually talk. I think it was me not sitting there making eye contact to be honest. They never felt like I was drilling them for info because I looked like I was doing something else. We talked about what was going on around us, played games, and talked about what was happening with their friends and at school. My kids are grown now, and they tell me they actually enjoyed that time in the car. And go figure, they are doing the same with their kids. (Just an aside, I have a large family and when they come to my house, they know their phones are off and put away. I told them very early on how disrespectful it is to me, when I spent hours preparing a huge meal for them, that they couldn’t be bothered to actually visit and appreciate the effort I made. It just took 1 time for that lecture to sink in! Sorry for the tirade, it’s a pet peeve of mine!)
