In a world full of illusion, how do you recognize Truth?
Discernment has never been more crucial.
I was co-facilitating a presentation on Saturday evening for my Spiritual Alignment Meetup group when all hell was breaking loose in Pennsylvania at Trump’s rally. Coincidentally, the topic of our presentation happened to be (of all things!) Discernment.
Discernment is a word that has taken on a whole new significance in the battle to maintain sanity while navigating this mad, mad world. It’s definition, according to Webster is “the quality of being able to grasp and comprehend what is obscure. Biblestudy(.com) describes it as “a kind of wisdom that comes from insight as much as from learned experience and knowledge. In the Christian faith, it comes from the Holy Spirit, and is a way of having insight in determining the true nature of a situation, person, or thing.”
I call it simply the ability to recognize Truth. And in the midst of chaos, confusion, deception, lies and conflicting information, sometimes it is anything BUT simple.
We might know something and believe it to be truth….but do we really know? HOW do we know? Where did the knowledge come from? Was it something we read, or heard, or were taught/told? Did we pick up on it and absorb it from others around us….perhaps because they are/were so committed to whatever it is?
We live in a time that has been called “Great Awakening”, when more and more things are coming to light which have been hidden, and disclosure after disclosure is shocking people into realizations that force them to confront certain truths which aren’t really true after all. Many foundational beliefs, our most cherished First Principles have crumbled:
About allopathic medicine.
About governments.
About science.
About history.
About religions.
Everywhere we turn, we are confused to find lies and control, an intricately woven web of interconnecting stories that have been spun down through the years, the origins of which we can trace back to the same few spiders.
There are so many layers of control spanning so many years that many of us have realized with a sinking feeling that it’s entirely possible that EVERYTHING we have considered to be “real” must now be reevaluated. And even in reevaluating, we have to be very careful that whatever standards that we use are pure and not contaminated or hijacked. Bodies of knowledge no longer can be trusted; who created them and for what purpose? People we once trusted may have been compromised by greed, ego, and/or agendas or simply because they were advancing a belief system that itself was already compromised. either knowingly or unknowingly. We can not any more afford to hold sacred that which we once did.
When we look back at our recent history (over the last hundred years or so) and see controlled demolition of all that is Natural and supportive of foundational health of body, mind and spirit, it is obvious that there has been a massive agenda at play to completely replace with artificial and make it the ONLY option. The agenda has infiltrated all areas of life, destroying supply chains, eliminating practitioners, using legal and political systems to outlaw practices, deploying enforcers to physically intimidate and harm, re-writing histories, enshrining fraudulent guru’s into mythologies, and subverting thought with the bombardment of propaganda in education and the media.
The old, tried-and-true methods of discovering Truth are no longer infallable….if, indeed they ever really were….but a great many more human beings have arrived at this realization than perhaps at any time in history.
Philosophy has it’s own set of standards in discerning truth; application of logic, phenomenon, pragmatism, moralism et ct….and these also require observations of what is going on in the world (or what has historically gone on) as a benchmark against which to compare. And when the behaviors, thoughts, habits and beliefs of society seem not only patently absurd but downright pathological, can we even trust application of our own mental processes arrived at through these traditional thought experiments? For many of us, science’s demands for empirical validation are now suspect; not only due to the amount of scientific and medical fraud which has come to light in context of the covid years, but also because of our own explorations into our multidimensionality beingness. Quantum and plasma physics; tested, confirmed and recognized for over a century yet still vehemently denied by the Newtonian reductionists dominating the commercial and business landscape of captured corporate and political theater, make so much more sense than the old paradigms. It is as though we are existing in two entirely separate realities, and neither can really relate….yet whenever conversations happen, we scratch our heads and wonder how it is that each of us can see things so clearly and yet so differently. Cellular biologist Bruce Lipton describes the evolution of quantum physics in his numerous interviews (one example here- beginning at one hour thirty one minute time stamp).
How can true discernment be cultivated? The answer, I believe, can be found in the body itself.
I was first introduced to the idea of Consciousness in 2012, when I read David R Hawkins’ seminal work Power Versus Force cover to cover one weekend in Maine. When my daughter was growing up, she and I would escape from the stress and normalcy of my job and her school and head north to Wells Beach during the off-season. We loved staying at our favorite nearly-deserted hotel, especially in the dead of winter, where she and I could enjoy having the empty beach and the swimming pool all to ourselves for long weekends. We always stocked up on her favorite snacks and my favorite wine and would just read books and watch movies. It was “our” thing, and gave me the opportunity to delve deeply into the complicated books that introduced spiritual topics that really interested me. Power Versus Force was one of those books, and I became very intrigued by the Scale of Consciousness, and Kinesiology as a tool to measure it.
Muscle testing (also called “applied Kinesiology”) rests on the fundamental premise that the body has a wisdom of its own, and it can communicate this wisdom directly to us.
Mainstream Western culture dismisses it as “pseudoscience” in the same way that it dismisses holistic practices that have been known and have worked effectively for thousands of years. Ayurveda, acupuncture, sound frequency healing, and other forms of energy medicine; anything that rests fundamentally upon recognition of the multi-dimensional energy field of the body, the Biofield, has been dismissed, mocked, and demonized. Realizing the campaign to censor and hide the truth that has been ongoing throughout our current age, we must ignore the “debunkers” and the naysayers whose finances are dependent upon the perpetuation of these narratives and figure things out for ourselves.
An irrefutable and highly practical example of applied kinesiology that has always been and always will be used is dowsing; locating water beneath the ground. The only tool needed, other than instinct, is a forked stick. Prior to the commercialization of sound-wave and other detection technologies in the 1900s, it was the primary method of finding water, and dowsing was a well-respected and in-demand profession that people made an excellent living doing.
Muscle testing is an integral part of many energy healing modalities that have been popularized in recent years because they work, and have helped millions of people transform their lives and overcome physical and psychological problems. It rests upon recognizing that everything is energy (Consciousness), and the body is itself intelligent. It is always attempting to communicate with us; we are just often numb to its messages, or we misinterpret them. Additionally, we are multi-dimensional beings with Soul/Spirit that is much greater, more powerful and interconnected than the limits of our dense, physical forms, and the true capacity of our Subconscious “minds” goes well beyond the limited abilities of linear science to understand.
Muscle testing is a fundamental process used in Alternative Healing. Emotion Code and Body Code; an energy healing system that has been becoming more and more popular. The process was developed by chiropractor Dr. Bradley Nelson, who observed that many of his patients came to him for help with conditions originating from unprocessed emotions that had become “trapped” in the body. Many clients have found that Emotion Code and Body Code greatly amplify the effectiveness of their existing, traditional treatment plans as a supplement, as well as being very effective all on their own. In the process, muscle testing is done to identify the trapped emotions that are causing the problems, decode where in the body they are sitting, and what caused them to become stuck in the first place. At that point, they are then able to be released.
-Emotion Code/Body Code is just one example of energy healing practice that muscle testing is integral to, I use it here as an example because I know it well; I am an Emotion Code practitioner myself. It is an Alternative Healing practice that bridges the mainstream, traditional forms of therapy with the alternative without retraumatization, and without years of therapy…and it works!
The benefits of Muscle Testing aren’t limited to just healing, though…..this process can do so much more. It is a doorway to access the wisdom and knowing contained within the body’s entire energy field. Just as the Subconscious mind holds all memory of everything that has ever happened to an individual and is accessible to most people only when they are asleep and dreaming or in a state of hypnotic trance, the body itself holds all memories as well. It is a vehicle for Discernment.
This is a ten minute overview of Muscle Testing from an Energy Healing YouTube channel. There are numerous different methods that can be done alone, or with someone else’s help. Additionally, utilizing a pendulum, especially if it is made of metal or resin, is another method of applied kinesiology that is often preferred by practitioners. This is the method that I use in my own practice, and also something that I go to when I want to confirm what my intuition is telling me.
It took me a bit of time to get used to doing this, and to trust the answers that I was getting….like everything else, it is a process. You do need to start in a balanced emotional place otherwise you may find that the answers you are getting confirm what you want them to be and are not necessarily objective. Emotional upset or expectation can also cause micro-movements of the body which will influence the pendulum’s swing. It takes time to master, and to trust. But it can be a very useful tool, and it will help you to develop confidence in your own inner knowing.
To learn more about applied kinesiology/muscle testing and measuring Consciousness, I highly recommend David Hawkins’ book as a starting point. Additionally, for more information about the human Biofield, Eileen McKusick, founder of Biofield Tuning, has authored several books and holds classes as well. The concepts presented through just these few resources will allow individuals to begin expanding their consciousness through foundational awareness that goes well beyond the old paradigms.
It is time to break the mold.
It's all illusory, we make it real by observation and participation. Quantum physics. The species has been hijacked into believing they should care about people and things they should not, and because they do, then they are easily manipulated.
